Bathroom:

  • Make sure that towels, bathmats, and other soft furnishings can be washed in the machine.

  • Spray and clean all surfaces, including cabinets, tiles, and mirrors. (We recommend using a microfiber cloth on surfaces with mirrored surfaces.
  • After allowing the spray to work to remove dirt and bacteria from the sink, bath, or shower, you can use a scrubby sponge to clean the surfaces. Rinse with the showerhead or tap afterward.
  • Then, with the toilet brush, scrub inside the toilet bowl from top to bottom. Start by washing the toilet brush bristles under the inner rim of the bowl at the top and finish in the water below the bowl. Clean the cistern with antibacterial wipes or spray and a cloth. Also, clean the underside and top of the toilet seat.
  • After you have finished cleaning the bathroom, use hot water with a bit of bleach to mop the floors.

Bedroom:

  • Remove all bedding from your mattress and let it air out for 30 minutes. (The best way to achieve this is to open all windows to allow fresh air to reach the mattress, reducing any allergens or germs). Start a wash cycle in the washing machine with all your bedding and clothes.
